The Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library have a huge presence on Amazon.com. We sell donations and library discards. Last year we made over $24,000 on this part of our book sale operation alone!
The women who do this call themselves “the Amazons.” They are a small but very dedicated group with a big job.
“We love the research part of this job. It always amazes us to discover which books have a high level of interest from the general public. It is like a treasure hunt, you find the most unlikely book has value.”
They pride themselves on the very detailed and accurate descriptions of each book. The goal is to have our customers be pleased, not surprised by their purchases from the Friends of Oro Valley Public Library. We are very price competitive in the category and the individual book listing
Look for our listings under Oro Valley Books.
We always need your discards. Now clean off your bookshelves and night stands. We’ll give you a tax donation receipt. If the book doesn’t get listed on the internet, we will sell it at one of our two book shoppes or at either the fall or spring book sales.
