Canada Crossroads #173
Book Shoppe Too opened in January 2011 to enhance the operations of the Friends.
Book Shoppe Too specializes in literature about the Southwestern U.S., Art and Classic Literature, and Vintage/Collectible editions. The SW section contains fiction, biographies of Western personalities, history and culture of the area, local native tribe reference material, gardening, cookbooks, scenic destinations, hiking trails, and works by local authors. Other Native American reference material is also shelved in the SW section of the shop.
Both the Friends Book Shoppe and Book Shoppe Too maintain a large selection of mystery, fiction, romance, and non-fiction material. Each shop has a slightly different collection of other genre, such as health, religion, science fiction, sports, travel, philosophy, foreign language, gardening, and cooking, in both hard back and paper back editions. You may call the shop to inquire about specific titles or genre. Book prices are reasonable and often reduced. Each shop has a different schedule of regular sale priced materials. Donations of books are accepted at either location.
Book Shoppe Too celebrates its ten-year anniversary in 2021. Book Shoppe Too serves many needs for the Friends. In addition to selling used books and jewelry, the internet sales staff manage and store their extensive inventory there. The pricing of donations for sale in both shops, and the sorting for storage of books between semiannual sales is done there also. Thus the name Book Shoppe Too.
REMEMBER: If you’re looking for a particular book, you can always call the shop in advance for information at 520-308-5347.
Small numbers of books can be donated at the shop during business hours.
For large donations, please drop them off at the Friends Book Shoppe in the Oro Valley Public Library.
