Friends Book Shoppe

 

The Friends Book Shoppe is located inside the Oro Valley Public Library. It supports the library by selling not only books, but also DVDs, CDs, audio books, puzzles, Iris Paper Folding Cards and Southwest themed tote bags. Holiday cards are also available when appropriate.

The 8,000 books and other offerings at the Shoppe were all donated by members of the community to be sold in support of the library. The Shoppe opened in 2006 and since then has raised over $300,000 to support library purchases and programs.

The volunteers can be found pricing and sorting donations daily in the Shoppe’s office and work diligently to update the inventory to offer a fresh variety of books at all times.
