What your donations, purchases and volunteer work help us do
Over the years, the Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library have provided tens of thousands of dollars of books and equipment, and subsidized classes, lectures, programs and author events. See programming available by visiting the Oro Valley Public Library website.
Contributions to our Library
Recently, Library Board Members met and approved the funding for two modular study rooms, so that patrons have more room to enjoy books at the Library. They also approved funding for additional outside lighting in the front porch area.
Our Initiatives
All inquiries about Books for Teachers or donations should be directed to the Friends Book Shoppe 520-594-5671.
The Friends donates many volumes to various organizations to support literacy in the community. Veterans groups, prison support groups, Pima County Bike book program, and local food banks receive excess books. Both shops also maintain a cart of free books.
